A Happy and Splendid New Year to All!

Dear Readers,
It has been a busy Christmas period and it's taken a little while for myself and my liver to recover...
Rest assured that I am refreshed and ready for what this new year shall bring! Those of you who didn't get either an Impossible Fossil paperweight or clock in your stocking, do not fear. A new batch will be ready for my emporium on Etsy very soon. In February you shall see me re-appear at Cambridge Arts and Craft Market on saturdays, and possibly now and again on the main market square on a sunday.
There will be plenty of other chances to see myself and my good lady this year, namely Whitby for both the Spring and Autumn Gothic Weekends (thank goodness it seems to be one event for each again this year...), the Asylum in Lincoln in September, plus a new event that is proving to be popular in Leeds which will be in March. More news on those as the year progresses.
Right, off to partake in some bread and water... it's all that my good lady will give me as it seems that all my clothes have got rather tighter round the middle...

Weekend at the Asylum is nearly upon us...

This weekend is my favourite of the whole year.
Many good chaps descend on the fair city of Lincoln for a jolly good shindig.
You shall see me selling my wares in the prison again this year- apparently in the haunted cell again which was rather fun.
No doubt there shall be spirits of many types in my vicinity this weekend!
My good lady shall be in attendance for both Saturday and Sunday this year which is going to be far nicer for both of us as we can escape the confines of our cell now and again to soak up the atmosphere...
Lots of new items this year, some of which you might have seen on Etsy and some of which are to be "premiered" at the Asylum. Too excited to write more...

Another Whitby has come and gone

A thoroughly jolly time had by all.

Here's the good lady enjoying her tea, too

And here's me on another day when I had planned to do a spot of fossil hunting in the Whitby cliffs. Unfortunately, due to tea, this venture was postponed.

A quick calling card...

Greetings.
I have been a little lax with my journal of late. I have been extremely busy collecting more specimens for my next exhibtion in Whitby in April.
Here is but one sample.

Many more are being polished as we speak and untold wonders, no doubt will be uncovered.

Whitby Gothic Weekend

Another very successful event in the fair town of Whitby. Much tea and cake consumed and lots more friendships forged. My heartfelt thanks to Mr Hoyle and Mr Dea for a smoothly run affair, as usual.
Looking forward to the next one on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd April and then on to the 28th 29th and 30th October 2011.
My Etsy Shop will, very shortly be well stocked for those that took my card away with them. You can frequent my online establishment at www.etsy.com/shop/impossiblefossils
I am afraid that I cannot offer you tea, cake or a selection of sweets but most certainly top quality merchandise.
I will be back from my North Yorkshire sabbatical very shortly so those of you anxious to get those Christmas presents will not be disappointed.

Asylum, Lincoln

A truly wonderful event attended last weekend. It was time to open the steamer trunks to reveal my wares to the public in all their glory. Many gasped in awe at the curios that I had gathered from my travels.
A sincere thankyou to Lady Elsie for her hospitality and I hope to meet again many of the ladies and gentlemen I conversed with that weekend.

May I extend that thanks to the lovely Constance Dearlove who was so kind to assist me on the sunday despite her busy schedule.

It shall be a pleasure to return to such a fascinating venue, complete with resident ghosts.
